Thank you to everyone who has donated to help us build a home for a family in need in Haiti. We have been busy working on a home for Pastor Pierrot and his family in Port Au Prince.  

I first met Pastor Pierrot a couple days after the quake in 2010. He and his family had lost everything, including their church.  He was living in a tent city a couple hours south of PAP in Jacmel.  I have stayed in touch with him over the years.  Conduit has paid for his kids to go to school, helped them with food assistance, and recently have been helping them with medical expenses. 

I recently became aware of how squalid his living conditions have been.  On my last visit in November the rain was coming down in sheets, for days.  He has been living in a shack that had "roof problems" . Which apparently means he HAD NO ROOF at all.  

We have begun the process of creating a home that is going to be livable for he and his family.  Starting with putting on a roof.  We will then strengthen the existing structure where we can, and rebuild where it's necessary.  This should be completed within the next few weeks.
