We're so grateful for the ongoing generosity.  Thank you to all of you who have donated, shared, and prayed.

Food distributions have already begun. Our teams continue to come across families who are 100% without food, and have no way to acquire it. We've handed out hundreds of bags of food that include enough beans/ rice/ flour / oil to give them 5-7 days worth of food.

We are continuing to assess the situation as well as communicate with our ministry colleagues in the area to assess the situation and to execute a plan that will work in lock step with the other organizations.

together we can do more.

UPDATE from Haiti. Pastor Lafleur is out in the community assessing damages. The folks in the church family are all safe. They're wet. Cold. But alive and resilient. Haitians could teach us a thing or two about being strong.

We will be gathering information on what the immediate and long term needs will be and I'll relay those to you as soon as I can.

I'm super proud of you. In 24 hours we raised $8,000. I didn't. WE did. you're awesome. We will likely need to raise more. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

(This photo was sent from my friend Paul earlier this afternoon. It was taken in Jacmel)

Thank you to everyone who has donated in the last 24 hours.  Truly grateful for your generosity.

The folks in Jacmel are definitely wet, and we won't immediately know the extent of the damage.

I got this message from Pastor David Badio (Restoration Church) this morning at around 7am.

"Pastor....we were unable to accommodate people in our facility because of the present state of the church. Because water went in... But yet I was able to visit a few of them. There is one family in particular that had to move from where they were because of the condition of their house....!!"

We are currently awaiting more updates from the School and Restoration House as well as the condition of the mountain church.

We will update here again as soon as we have more information.
