We way exceeded our initial goal of $8,000! Thank you to each of you for sharing this story. For donating. For praying. Grady Pickett has been able to continue serving the brothers and sisters in Iraq. Living in tents in a harsh winter climate is already a challenge, but without heat, it would be unbearable. As winter has set in, there are thousands of refugees who now have heat who wouldn't otherwise.
The image above is from one of the refugee camps made famous by Glenn Beck in his operation to evacuate several hundred Christian refugees to Europe. There are thousands more left behind. They are the ones who Grady and his family are serving. They currently provide meals and provisions to literally hundreds of refugees. With a potential civil war brewing over the border in Turkey on one side, and with ISIS forces raging 70KM the other way, it's a precarious place. We are so thankful for the Pickett family providing an opportunity for us to invest in what God wants to do there.
Any more donations that come in will be put to good use for the ongoing bread and provisions needed for these people in desperate need.
On behalf of myself, Darren Tyler, Conduit Mission and the Pickett Family... thank you.
In fact, they have planted a church right in the middle of Irbil Iraq.

WOW. we crushed the $8,000 goal. I asked Grady what else they could use funds for. Here's his response.
"Once that is distributed there is a refugee Christian camp that can't pay their land rent. We will probably help them out. $2000 a month the land owner wants. We also have a bread project in a Syrian Kurdish Muslim camp where we bake 700 loaves a day for the past 18 months. That costs me $2000 a month. We are also starting a church and have it about 80% ready to launch. A keyboard and sound system are about $2500."
There is plenty to do. So much need. We will forward on the overages to Grady for him to do with as the needs arise.
IN THIS PIC:
6 cold classrooms for 40 refugee children got their kerosene heaters today here in N. Iraq Kurdistan. Thank-you for your help.

Thank you to Danna Gresh and www.secretkeepergirl.com
Dannah and her team have issued a $2,000 matching donation challenge. They will match up to $2,000 in donations. That's double the kerosene. That's two heaters for the cost of one. We are so grateful to Dannah. And to all of you who are donating, praying, sharing and stepping up to help our brothers and sisters in Iraq.

The Christian refugee teachers were also glad to get the heaters. Grady and his team are already delivering heaters and kerosene and coming out of pocket personally for them. As soon as we hit $8000 we will send the money immediately. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. prayed. and shared this campaign.
