Base Camp For A Bigger School

My name is Darren Tyler.  I'm the founder of Conduit Mission/ Conduit Church in Nashville, TN.  In September my son Ethan and myself will be making the 80 mile trek to Base Camp on Mount Everest in Nepal.   I'm asking my friends and colleagues to sponsor me on this journey.  The trip itself is paid for.  All funds raised here will go to help finance ongoing operations of Conduit Academy in Biratnagar Nepal.   The school currently has 300 students and we are looking to expand with construction of a 3rd floor.  This will give us the capacity to add another 150 students.  

Biratnagar is located in southern Nepal near the border with India.  Christians make up less than 1% of the population. They live in an environment where Christianity isn't outlawed but Christians are discriminated against in everything, including education.  Conduit Christian Academy is the ONLY Christian school in the region and is recognized by the Nepalese government as an official school.  We are celebrating our 5th year as a full fledged school in Nepal. 

While we are in Nepal, we are going to celebrate the grand opening of the second floor which was completed this year.  It's my hope to be able to announce to the kids that we have received the funds to complete the next phase.  

If I could get $375 sponsored for every mile we hike, that will add up to $30,000.  Would you consider sponsoring a mile of this trek?  Or a half mile?  Quarter mile?
